•You are able to place a hold on all Massena items and other libraries’ collections while the North Country Library System interlibrary loan program continues.
•If you don’t have access to technology that will enable you to place a hold, please call the library at (315) 769-9914 and we will search for your requests and pull them from our shelves.
•Once we have your item(s) we will check your hold out to you, bag your items, and call you to pick them up.
•Please call us from your car outside the library when you arrive to pick up your items. We will put your bagged materials outside the door and you can pick them up when the library employee steps back into the library.
Returns Now Accepted in our Bookdrop
Patrons may return their library materials in our book drop for processing. All returned library materials are processed as follows:
•Materials in the book drop are quarantined for 72 hours.
•After the quarantine period, the book covers, CD and DVD cases, and CD’s and DVD’s are cleansed with disinfectant.
•The materials are then discharged and returned to the shelf.
•When a patron requests library materials they are pulled from the shelves, cleansed with disinfectant and are bagged for the patron checkout.
Our cleaning procedure follows directives from the CDC
