Book Club Evening

October 26 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

When: Tuesday, October 26th
Time: 6:30-8:00

Our first Library Book Club selection for the fall season is “Nomadland: Surviving America in the 21st Century” by Jessica Bruder. This non-fiction award winning book is a 2017 nonfiction book about the phenomenon of older Americans who, following the Great Recession from 2007 to 2009, adopted transient lifestyles traveling around the United States in search of seasonal work. The book was adapted into the 2020 film of the same name, which was awarded the Academy Award for Best Picture. The book discussion will take place via Zoom.  If you’d like to join us, please contact Elaine Dunne at the Library to make arrangements to get a copy of the book. All are welcome to join!
