At Massena Public Library, we believe in providing a safe, comfortable environment for all visitors.  Warm Hearts, Warm Library is a multi-phase project to modernize our aging boiler system in order to reduce escalating maintenance costs and emergency repairs.  The total project represents a $950,000 investment into our community, with most funding expected to come through grants. Phase 2: Strengthening the Framework

With Phase 1 successfully completed, our focus now turns to Phase 2. This next step of the Warm Hearts, Warm Library campaign focuses on the critical planning and coordination work needed to move the project forward responsibly. During this phase, the Library will be working with vendors to refine the project scope and costs, and understand project phasing. At the same time, we are partnering with Massena Electric Department (MED) to explore additional funding opportunities that may help offset these costs. While much of this work happens behind the scenes, it is essential to ensuring that the project is well-planned, financially sound, and positioned for long term success. 

Although fundraising is not the primary focus of Phase 2, community support continues to play an important role. Donations made during this phase will help strengthen the library’s ability to secure grant funding once the total project expenses are determined. Your contribution at this stage helps keep the momentum moving forward and demonstrates continued community commitment as we prepare for the final stretch.
